Community Skate

The Junior Tigers hold a community skate for Christmas. In partnership with our sponsor the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), the CHG families were all invited to the RBC Community Skate prior to the Canada Versus World exhibition game featuring the best hockey players in Hong Kong. Over 100 individuals signed up and took part. The RBC Community Skate is an annual family event where all are welcome to join, free of charge, and a great opportunity for families and friends to skate together to kick off the holiday season. Skates will be available to rent at the DB Ice Rink.

Semi Private Programs

September 2023 - March 2024

We are excited to introduce semi-private lessons in Discovery for the upcoming season. These lessons provide a semi-group training environment that allows for individualized attention and feedback from experienced coaches. This personalized attention can help players enhance their skills in areas such as skating, shooting, passing, and stickhandling. Additionally, our elite level coaches will offer players the chance to progress rapidly and achieve their goals.

The Greater Bay Championships 2

May 24 - 27, 2023

The Greater Bay Championships 2 will take place in May, with both Youth and Adult Divisions from May 24th-27th. All games will take place at the DB Rink in Discovery Bay.

The Yokohama GRITS, a professional hockey team based out of Japan competing in the Asia Pro League, will take on the HK Tigers in a four game Super Series during the Greater Bay Championships 2. It promises to be an exciting showcase of hockey talent taking place at DB Rink Discovery Bay.


The Battle for the 12th ASIAXPAT Cup

The battle for the 12th ASIAXPAT Cup will take place this Saturday, April 1st as the AsiaXpat Kowloon Warriors take on the HKBN Hong Kong Tycoons.

During the regular season, the series was split evenly 4-4 with the Tycoons scoring 66 goals and the Warriors 64.

Lucas Eshleman and Cole Poliziani are the Tycoons to watch as they combined for 29 goals (Lucas-15, Cole-14) against the Warriors during the regular season.

For the Warriors, Rhett Willcox and Connor Quinn each had 11 for a total of 22 goals.

On paper these teams are evenly matched, Tycoons have a slight advantage in scoring while the Warriors edge the Tycoons in goal.

The RBC Super Series

December 27 - 28, 2022

The RBC Super Series is a new format derived from the popular Hot Pot tournament. Two teams in each division will play against each other in a 4-game series over Christmas.
